Been a Long Day

Sorry for not posting at the usual time! I was soooo tired that I didn't feel like typing. I know that sounds lazy, but it was a totally exhausting weekend. 6 shows in 3 days! I'm glad it's over, though to be honest I did have fun.

Not much to report. Two more nails came out of the set piece and onto the stage yesterday. This time, the guy I am understudying noticed them and picked them up so as not to wound himself again. I felt bad that he had to deal with that on stage. Fortunately, still no one has blamed understudy sabotage on the nails. =-) hehe.

A couple of us tried to go to Moriarty's between shows again today, and we were once again turned away. I guess they are serious when they say you have to have a reservation. I really want to try those wings! We instead went to a place near the theatre called Coco's which on Sunday has $5 wings. They were good...not great...but good. The waitress, however, did not bring me blue cheese with my wings and then looked at me strangely when I asked for some. HELLO!?!? What would I do with the wings without blue cheese? Eat them plain? Oh no no no no no. I vowed to not eat them until the blue cheese arrived. Fortunately (unlike our meals...) the blue cheese arrived quickly and I was able to eat. Of course everyone else finished before me due to my vow of hunger...but I felt like it was the right choice.

I have ventured up to see Robert for the day off. I know I was just up here for Thanksgiving, but we ran around the whole time and it'll be nice to just rest (though he does have an audition tomorrow for 42nd Street and Sophisticated Ladies). Also, Tuesday is our anniversary. Yay! So my Monday will hopefully consist of doing absolutely nothing, maybe some writing, a movie and food. That sounds like a great day off to me...weeeeeeee!
