It's A Fine Life

Tired! Tired! Tired! Yesterday's rehearsal was also quite long, though we did end up getting out 2 hours early. I used one of those hours sitting on the train and the other to eat at a delightful diner-ish place in Wilmington called The Charcoal Pit. The milkshakes are amazing.

We didn't get as far as was hoped in the tech-ing process yesterday. The big ensemble number in act one took pretty much the entire day. I now sell meat during that scene. I started to get a little frustrated, but kept reminding myself that there is no point in doing so. I also kept reminding myself that this is my first Union show and they provide socks, under-shirts and towels for me every day-that just makes me laugh. How different from all the other places I've worked! I seriously can't wait to join the Union. haha.

Otherwise, I don't have much news to report. I fell asleep on the couch last night while Dan and I were watching TV. I think he watched 3 or 4 episodes of The New Adventures of Old Christine and The Office before I finally woke up. Tech is exhausting-even if most of it is spent sitting around doing nothing. More Tech today and our dress rehearsal tomorrow. Weeeeeee!
